Financial Executives International (FEI) announced that Western Window Systems chief financial officer, Heather Zorge, is the recipient of its 2019 FEI Financial Executive of the Year Award in the private company category. The award goes to financial executives who have exhibited exceptional accomplishments as corporate stewards, while also contributing positively to their companies.

“Heather’s strong leadership and extensive financial, operational and strategic experience are an ideal fit for Western Window Systems as we continue to grow,” says Scott Gates, president of Western Window Systems. “It’s gratifying to see her recognized for the same qualities by industry experts.”

Zorge has been with Western Window Systems since 2016. She has led improvements to the company’s profitability and operating cash flows, officials say, and has developed operational strategies aimed at improving infrastructure and processes. Zorge has more than 20 years of financial executive experience in both the public and private sector with stints at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Petroplus and American Traffic Solutions. In 2018, she was named “CFO of the Year” by the Arizona Chapter of Financial Executives.
