WTS Paradigm Holds Team Building Event for Employees
October 11th, 2013 by EditorMiddleton, Wis.-based WTS Paradigm held its Madison City Scour event for employees recently. The City Scour is an all-company event in which employees are divided into small teams and sent across downtown Madison in a competition to solve clues and take photos at different locations. The event involves a mix of trivia, photo clues, videos and road block tasks.

The Electric Pink team won the event. A $1,000 donation will be made on the team’s behalf to local charity Tri 4 Schools.
WTS Paradigm employees were split into 23 teams and were given more than 140 clues leading to different locations across downtown Madison. Teams had a little over 2-½ hours to complete as many clues as possible. For the 2013 City Scour, WTS Paradigm upped the stakes again, adding $1,000 from WTS Paradigm that the winning team could donate to the charity of their choice.
One WTS Paradigm employee says, “You have a very short timeframe in which to establish a good dynamic, or you don’t do well in the Scour. You have to do a very fast assessment of skills and strengths, and then divide tasks accordingly. Then, you have to determine your priorities and sort the challenges accordingly. It’s definitely a great way to learn team building and team participation skills.”
The winners of the 2013 City Scour were the “Electric Pink” team. They selected Tri 4 Schools as the charity of their choice. A $1,000 donation will be made to Tri 4 Schools from WTS Paradigm on behalf of the Electric Pink team. Tri 4 Schools is a non-profit with a mission to help fight childhood obesity in Wisconsin by raising money for schools through race events.
