Woodgrain Acquires North Carolina Door Shop
December 3rd, 2021 by EditorWoodgrain announced it has purchased Lowe’s Thomasville Millwork door shop in Lexington, N.C. A Woodgrain press release says the acquisition increases the company’s position in the Southeast United States, and further bolsters Woodgrain’s millwork and door manufacturing capabilities and presence within Lowe’s home improvement stores across the Southeast and Mid Atlantic. It is the second former Lowe’s Millwork door shop acquired by Woodgrain in 2021, with the White House, Tenn., location transferring ownership in July.
Located in central North Carolina, the acquired door shop has been operating since 1986. With the new acquisition, Woodgrain will supply Lowe’s stores with ReliaBilt® interior and Therma-Tru® Benchmark exterior doors across the Southeast and Mid Atlantic.
