Window World continued its string of success in 2020, enough so to land on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list for 2021. The North Wilkesboro, NC -based company clocked in at number 268 on the list, moving up from its place at 356 last year.

Just to be eligible for consideration, “a franchisor must be seeking new franchisees in the U.S. or Canada and must have had a minimum of 10 units open and operating as of July 31, 2020, with at least one franchise located in North America.” Window World expanded its operations by 10 locations in three years and has more than 200 locations to its name.

The list is compiled by taking into account five franchise factors: Costs & Fees, Size & Growth, Support, Brand Strength, and Financial Strength & Stability. Companies accrue points across the different factors, on 150 different data points, and the highest scores make the list.

Entrepreneur reports that there were a record number of applicants for the list, with more than 1000 companies vying for a spot.
