Officials for Window World Inc. announced that—for the 12th consecutive year—their company’s products have earned the Good Housekeeping Institute’s Good Housekeeping Seal. The recognition marks the second consecutive year the company’s vinyl siding and Therma-Tru doors have received the seal.

“Not only were we impressed with the quality of Window World’s windows, vinyl siding and Therma-Tru doors, but also with the variety,” said Good Housekeeping Institute chief technologist and director of engineering, Rachel Rothman, who oversaw testing.

According to a Window World press release, the company’s windows were found to be durable and weather resistance, while its Therma-Tru brand Classic Craft, Smooth Star and Fiber Classic doors exhibited significant durability, moisture resistance and insulating properties. Window World’s siding was found to be effective in resisting extreme force winds and color fading from sun exposure, Good Housekeeping stated.

“We are confident in the quality of Window World’s products, and the continued validation from the Good Housekeeping Institute proves our customers can rest assured they are getting excellent products,” says Window World chairman and CEO Tammy Whitworth.

The Good Housekeeping Institute provides a two-year limited warranty to consumers who purchase products that receive a Good Housekeeping Seal to prove its confidence in the products it endorses.
