Window Nation Purchases Remaining Regency Windows Assets

May 16th, 2012 by Editor

Window Nation announced it has purchased the remaining assets of Regency Window Co. in Twinsburg, Ohio. Regency Windows closed without warning in January.

According to the announcement, Window Nation says that since it did not perform any of Regency Windows’ installations or profit from any of those jobs, it isn’t able to offer warranty service on Regency purchases. However, Window Nation has set up a new web site, www.RegencyWindow.com, to help Regency buyers and offer guidance on resources.

“We want to help Regency buyers understand their options,” says Harley Magden, Window Nation president. “We want people to know that just because Regency Windows closed their doors, that doesn’t mean existing customers have no warranty. In fact, the majority of the windows that Regency sold are still covered by the manufacturers’ warranties.”

According to the announcement, the new website lists phone numbers for all manufacturers that Regency Windows used and provides information on what to do and how to contact manufacturers if a service issue exists now or develops in the future on a product purchased from Regency.
