A few window and glass-related companies rose in ranks on the Franchise Times Top 400 list for 2021. Rankings are based on sales in 2020 by companies with franchised locations.
Window World is ranked at number 90, up from 123 last year. The company has 203 locations and began franchising in 2011. Window World earned $873,489,033 in 2020, equating to 18.3% growth in sales and 2% unit growth. Two Window World locations earned spots in [DWM] magazine’s Top Dealers list in 2021.
Glass Doctor ranked at number 238 with 191 locations, including 179 in the U.S. and 12 international locations. Up from number 265 last year, the company opened in 1962 in Seattle and provides a full range of glass repair services. Franchising began in 1977 and the company is franchised by Neighborly. Glass Doctor earned $172,623,376 in 2020, a .5% growth in sales and 2.1% unit growth.
Glass Guru’s ranking at number 396 brings it up from number 426 last year. The company offers repair and replacement window services through 71 franchises in the U.S. and five in Canada. Its headquarters is in Roseville, Calif., where the first outlet opened. Franchising began in 2007. In 2020, Glass Guru’s global sales were $37,787,781, which was a decrease of 9.7% in sales growth and an increase of 1.3% unit growth.
