Heather Zorge

Western Window Systems, part of the PGT Innovations Inc. brand, recently announced its chief financial officer (CFO), Heather Zorge, has been named the 2018 CFO of the Year by the Arizona Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI).

“[This award] honors outstanding financial executives in the business community who demonstrate excellent financial management,” according to the company.

Zorge has been with the company since 2016 and oversees its financial and legal activities. Since joining, she has improved the brand’s profitability and developed operational strategies that have improved infrastructure and processes.

“Heather has done a phenomenal job in reshaping how we approach our decision making, reporting, analysis, legal assessments, pricing, costing, budgeting, product launches, market entry and strategy,” says Scott Gates, president of Western Window Systems. “There isn’t a part of our business she hasn’t helped make better. More than that, she has built an incredible team that makes our company better every day.”

Zorge was recognized at an awards dinner on November 1.

“I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to join Western Window Systems and learn from and grow with such an amazing group of humans,” says Zorge. “I am in wonder most days at the feats we are able to pull off as a team and just honored to help in any way I can.”
