July 6th, 2015 by EditorTherma-Tru’s Classic-Craft line of energy-efficient entryways has been named a Consumers Digest Best Buy in the fiberglass entry doors category, and the company’s Fiber-Classic product line has been named a Best Buy midrange selection in the same category.

Consumers Digest last reviewed fiberglass entry doors in 2011. This marks the second time all five collections of Therma-Tru Classic-Craft fiberglass entry doors – American Style, Mahogany, Rustic, Oak and Canvas – were named as Best Buys. Therma-Tru is the only company in the 2015 Consumers Digest entry doors report to have two product lines recognized as Best Buys.
The designations appear in the magazine’s July/August 2015 issue.
“We see the Best Buy designations for our Classic-Craft and Fiber-Classic collections as a seal of approval that homeowners can depend on when selecting the best entryways for their homes,” says Mark Savan, president of Therma-Tru Corp.
Consumers Digest cites “a high-quality replication of the look of real wood with a lifetime warranty” as one of the outstanding features of the door line. The report also says that “Fiber-Classic is the least expensive fiberglass entry door that we found to include a wood-grain finish, a lifetime warranty and at least 20 styles.”
The Best Buy recommendations have been a staple of Consumers Digest magazine for more than 50 years. The stringent criteria for Best Buy product evaluations make the designation a sought-after honor for companies worldwide.
