Texas Dealers Bounce Back and Return to Work

Door and window companies in Texas are getting back to work this week after a winter storm wreaked havoc on homeowners and businesses across the state.

“We had some disruption during the storm and it is definitely impacting homes across the state due to frozen pipes causing numerous leaks,” says Noah Hutcher, senior vice president at Statewide Remodeling in Flower Mound, Texas. “Overall we have bounced right back and are back to work full speed this week.”

The same is true at Southwest Exteriors in San Antonio. “All is well with our family and company,” reports president Scott Barr. “We were basically shut down last week and had no completed jobs and only two new jobs sold. It is a beautiful day today and everyone is back to work and playing catch-up.”

News outlets are already disseminating info on how homeowners can get repairs by filing insurance claims, providing helpful information. No doubt, door and window companies will see increased demand in the coming weeks and months.

“I would expect that we would continue to see higher volume as homeowners look to remodel areas that were damaged by broken pipes and look to do other energy saving projects,” adds Hutcher.

Both companies appear on [DWM] magazine’s list of Top Dealers. Look to the upcoming March issue of [DWM] at dwmmag.com/digital for the full rankings.
