Solar Innovations Raises $4,500 for Local Non-Profit Organizations

Solar Innovations Architectural Glazing Systems recently raised $4,500 for five local non-profit organizations during its 2018 second quarter Solar Cares campaign.

The Solar Cares campaign was created to dedicate extra time and effort into giving back to surrounding communities in in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. This quarter, money was raised by 68 percent of the office team members with $900 being donated to each of the following organizations: Tremont Area Food Pantry, Operation Hugs and Kisses, Tremont Little League Baseball Inc., Sweet Arrow Lake Conservation Association and Pine Grove Area Youth Soccer Association. Including team member donations, Solar Innovations was able to donate a total of $4,500 between the five local organizations.

The Solar Cares campaign launched in October 2015. In less than three years, it has raised over $30,000 in monetary donations plus a variety of supplies such as toys, coats, non-perishable food items, pet supplies, and cleaning supplies. It continues to hold company-wide fundraisers every quarter.
