Solar Innovations Inc. was awarded a patent for its hybrid marine and stop glazing system.

The system combines vertical marine glazing with horizontal stop glazing to create a narrower vertical frame than conventional stop glazed doors.

Solar Innovations says the system has achieved the narrowest four-sided glazed door on the market and is available for pivoting, stacking, swinging and folding door units.

“Our design maximizes views by reducing bulky framing members to minimize view interruptions and ultimately create a clearer view and better user experience,” says Greg Header, CEO of Solar Innovations Inc.
