Soft Tech Appoints Bob Koegler as Global Operations ManagerMarch 16th, 2020 by Jordan Scott
Soft Tech has appointed Bob Koegler to its senior leadership team as global operations manager, based out of the U.S. Koegler has over 35 years’ experience in the commercial construction industry. He will be overseeing Soft Tech’s operations in the support and training and implementation teams based out of India, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S.
In his most recent role he served as Southeastern service center manager for Assa Abloy. His time there was focused on improving operations and enhancing customer satisfaction. Prior to working with Assa Abloy, Koegler spent most of his 34-year career with Kawneer Company Inc., based out of North America. During his time with Kawneer, he moved through various roles ranging from customer service to manufacturing management. He also served as location manager for the company’s Visalis, Calif., facility twice, holding team lead roles as director of window manufacturing and director of service centers during this time.
In 2011, Koegler returned to the company’s corporate headquarters as manager of commercial technology, leading the upgrade of Kawneer’s ERP and the KawneerDirect expansion project. During this time, he worked closely with Soft Tech’s dedicated project team in expanding the functionality of KawneerDirect, the company’s B2B e-Commerce site.
