Soft-Lite Appoints New Vice President of Operations

Soft-Lite Windows has appointed Don Fisher as its new vice president of operations. According to the company, Fisher will install additional tools and implement process changes to allow the company to expand for future growth and to train the managers and employees in servant leadership.

Fisher has spent the majority of his career as a turnaround plant manager and director of lean and continuous improvement with corporations including Guardian, Knauf and MAAX. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Indiana Tech University. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and certified lean expert.

“Don is a people person who thrives on getting team members to drive results by empowering them to make the improvements themselves and take ownership for their own processes and decisions,” said Roy Anderson, president of Soft-Lite. “We welcome him to Soft-Lite to help us complete our journey to world class and show the window industry what a best-in-class manufacturing plant looks like.”
