Ply Gem will auction off new Simonton patio doors windows to support the American Cancer Society on May 9 in Ellenboro, W.Va.

The auction, which is open to the public, begins at 11 a.m. at the Simonton Windows manufacturing plant on Route 50 in Ellenboro. All items will be sold “as is,” without warranty.

Windows usually cost between $40 and $50 each. Patio doors go for between $100 and $175 each.

Potential bidders can arrive as early as 9 a.m. to view the auction items, and they must have the exact measurements of the doors and windows they need. Cash and checks will be accepted, and winning bidders must be able to take all purchased items home on the day of the auction.

During the past 13 years, the door and window auction has raised more than $450,000 for the American Cancer Society, with $56,000 raised in 2014 alone, according to the company.
