Several Industry Companies Make List of Largest Franchise Systems

Companies in the window and glass industry sectors have made the Franchise Times Top 200+ list, an annual ranking of the 500 largest franchise systems in the U.S. by global system-wide sales, based on the previous year’s performance. To qualify, franchisees must own at least 15% of the company’s total units. The company must also be based in the U.S., or have at least 10% of its total units in the U.S.
Here are the industry companies recognized this year:

No. 123: Window World
This is Window World’s first year on the list. The company, based in North Wilkesboro, N.C., sells and installs vinyl replacement windows, entry doors and siding. Window World’s global sales total $738,637,102 and it has 198 U.S. franchise locations. The company has experienced 2% sales growth and 3.1% unit growth.

No. 265: Glass Doctor
Glass Doctor rose in the ranks this year from No. 273 in 2019. The company, which first opened in Seattle in 1962, provides glass repair and replacement services for the commercial, residential and automotive sectors. Glass Doctors’ global sales total $171,764,657 and it has 175 U.S. franchised locations with 12 international franchised locations. The company has experienced 6.5% sales growth and 3.9% unit growth.

No. 299: Novus Glass
Novus Glass is another new company on the list. Its focus in on mobile windshield repair and replacement but the company also provides commercial and residential glass services. Novus Glass’s global sales total $138,102,011 and it has 170 U.S. franchised units with 1,840 international units. The company has experienced sales growth of 29.9% and unit growth of 0.8%.

No. 426: The Glass Guru
The Glass Guru’s ranking improved from No. 458 last year. The company, based in Roseville, Calif., offers maintenance, repair and replacement services for residential windows as well as commercial applications. The Glass Guru’s global sales total $41,836,579 with 70 U.S. franchised units and five international franchised units. It has experienced 27.6% sales growth despite its unit growth shrinking 8.5%.
