Saint-Gobain Acquires TekBond
July 25th, 2017 by EditorSaint-Gobain has signed a share purchase agreement to buy TekBond, the No. 1 adhesives business in Brazil operating in the construction sector and on the automotive aftermarket.
TekBond supplies a broad range of adhesives, sealants, sprays and masking tapes in Brazil. It will join Saint-Gobain’s High-Performance Materials Activity, enabling the company to create important synergies in Brazil with the flat glass, abrasives and mortars business lines on the construction and industrial markets.
The deal is subject to the approval of the Brazilian antitrust authorities.
