Roto CEO Takes Part in German American Chamber Roundtable

Chris Dimou, Roto North America’s president and CEO, participated in the “Roundtable: Workforce Development for German Companies in Connecticut” hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) earlier this month in New York City.

The GACC brought together industry leaders who have active roles in administering vocational training programs. Among the topics discussed were dual apprenticeship programs, which are highly successful vocational/educational programs that began in Germany and are now recognized globally. Specifically addressed was how the German dual system of vocational training can enhance U.S. vocational programs. Several programs have been put in place in the U.S. in recent years.

Following the roundtable, Dimou met with Dietmar Rieg, president and CEO of the GACC NY, and agreed to organize a similar event that will be hosted by Roto Frank of America in the fall of 2018.
