Quanex Building Products Grows North American Marketing Team
June 3rd, 2021 by EditorQuanex Building Products has added to its North American marketing team and recent moves have allowed for what the company calls more strategic marketing sightlines across the organization, supporting both the North American Fenestration (NAF) side as well as the North American Cabinet Components (NACC) division of the business.
Earlier this year, the company announced the hiring of Cristina Murray as the new North American director of marketing. Murray has more than 20 years of experience driving brand awareness and achieving market excellence in the B2B marketplace, with her most recent tenure at PPG Industries, Inc.
Carrie Scheetz was recently promoted to marketing manager, with a focus on the NAF business. Scheetz has been with Quanex for nearly 16 years, starting as a sales and marketing assistant with Edgetech, prior to Quanex’s purchase of the company, and most recently as a marketing project manager.
Kelly Woodward joins the team as the new marketing manager for NACC as well as internal communications efforts. Woodward has more than 12 years of experience working in several different marketing roles, most recently at YRC Worldwide.
“We haven’t had a marketing team dedicated to NACC before, and we are excited to have them to help us focus on our internal and external communications moving forward,” said John Sleva, president, NACC, Quanex Building Products.
Marcus Barnhart was recently promoted to marketing creative services project manager with a role focused on driving creative strategy throughout the organization. Barnhart has been with Quanex for five years, most recently as a web marketing specialist and graphic designer.
Jocelyn Faenza joins the team as the new digital marketing manager. She has 14 years of B2B digital marketing experience, most recently as the senior IT digital marketing analyst for PPG.
