Public to Review NFRC Documents Before ANSI Submission
February 14th, 2020 by Emmariah HolcombThe National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) board of directors approved a plan to submit six NFRC documents to the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) process. The public review and comment period runs through March 23, 2020, according to the council.
The six documents to be submitted are:
- NFRC 100-2020: procedure for determining fenestration product u-factors;
- NFRC 200-2020: procedure for determining fenestration product solar heat gain coefficient and visible transmittance at normal incidence;
- NFRC 202-2020: procedure for determining translucent fenestration product visible transmittance at normal incidence;
- NFRC 203-2020: procedure for determining visible transmittance of tubular daylighting devices;
- NFRC 400-2020: procedure for determining fenestration product air leakage; and
- NFRC 500-2020: procedure for determining fenestration product condensation index ratings
