Power Home Remodeling Named a No. 1 Best Workplace

If camaraderie is what you’re looking for in a job, you may want to try working for Power Home Remodeling Group.

The Chester, Pa.-based company has been named the No. 1 best workplace in the country by Fortune magazine.

The ranking stems directly from employee feedback.

“Camaraderie is a word that remains at the heart of Power and creating a collaborative workplace that keeps our employees as happy as they can be is always our main goal—this year alone, we have invested millions of dollars on events, not to drive revenue, but strictly for our people,” says Asher Raphael, Power’s Co-CEO. “We are immensely proud of this recognition and view it as another positive reinforcement of why we continue to heavily invest in our employees—an investment that we truly believe is most important.”

Nearly 600 companies were evaluated and received workplace reviews, which reflect the opinions of over 255,000 employees who were randomly selected to complete Great Place to Work’s Trust Index employee survey. Employees were asked questions about the quality of personal connections they experience with colleagues, taking into account how comfortable people feel being themselves; how friendly, cooperative and fun the workplace is; and the strength of its teams.

According to one Power employee’s feedback from the survey, “Through personal struggles outside of work, they were really great in showing support and helping me through a difficult circumstance. There is also a real sense of team here.”

This year alone, Power invested more than $4 million on events— rom a year-end, company-paid trip to Mexico, six large-scale leadership conferences and a number of fun monthly events across its 10 territories.
