Power Home Remodeling Named a Best Workplace
June 4th, 2017 by EditorPower Home Remodeling has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as a Top 50 Best Workplace in America. Ranking second in the large-workforce category, Power stood out among the more than 1,600 companies that applied for the list this year, which is determined via employee surveys on issues like career development, communication, trust in leadership, team dynamics and individual needs.
“We could not be more proud to be selected to this national list, as it doesn’t just focus on pay and perks, but recognizes companies that operate with a sense of purpose, and cultures that breed individual and team performance,” said Asher Raphael, co-CEO of Power Home Remodeling. “It’s reassuring to hear that our employees recognize Power’s positive and driven environment, that allows them to build character, become leaders, and develop into the best people they can be.”
Power employees cited opportunities for personal development and upward mobility; a unique workplace culture including events focused on camaraderie and leadership development; and Power’s core values, including: integrity, grit, optimism, innovation and caring. The company continues to invest millions of dollars each year on leadership development including bi-annual conferences, mentorship programs, discovery trips, intensive training programs and more.
“This achievement is special because it is based on the feedback of our employees,” Raphael added. “By putting employees and customers ahead of profits, we’ve been able to attract, retain and develop leaders at Power who have driven our growth.”
Since 2008, Power says it has grown by more than 1,500 percent —expanding from one territory to 14 in 2017. The company is projected to open ten more territories and reach close to $1 billion in annual revenue in the next five years.
