Pella Partners with Resolution for Home Automation Integration
June 16th, 2017 by EditorResolution Products, a provider of security technology, and Pella Corp. have collaborated to include Pella’s Insynctive home-automation technology as an extension to Resolution’s Universal Translator product family. The new RE524XP will be available this summer.
“By having the sensors integrated into the window at the time of manufacture, dealers can deliver this security and automation without impacting the performance or aesthetics of the window – a critical barrier faced by dealers on every installation,” said Dave Mayne, vice president of marketing for Resolution. “Including Insynctive Technology in the Universal Translator family of products allows virtually any professional security dealer to take advantage of Pella’s security and automation platform.”
Resolution’s Universal Translator will incorporate Insynctive technology, enabling Pella windows and doors to be compatible with most major security systems. Pella’s built-in security sensors provide open and close status for Pella’s Designer Series windows and an additional benefit of locked/unlocked status for Designer Series patio doors, plus Architect Series and Pella-branded entry doors.
“Being integrated within the universal translator offers security dealers, builders, and homeowners more flexibility,” added Insynctive product manager Caleb Klein. “Pella will continue to provide Insynctive as a stand-alone offering for builders and homeowners, but now, with our connection to Resolution, Pella’s integrated sensors, can be directly incorporated into a home’s security system.”
