Jeld-Wen Appoints Krause to SVP and General Manager North America

Jeld-Wen Holding Inc. has promoted John T. Krause to senior vice president and general manager, North America. Krause reports to Jeld-Wen chair and CEO Gary S. Michel.

Krause previously served as the company’s vice president and general manager for the North America windows business. He succeeds Daniel Castillo, who has left the company.

“John is a highly accomplished executive who has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams that consistently deliver outstanding results,” said Michel. “His appointment reflects our succession planning process and the talent across the company.”

Krause has more than 25 years of general management, marketing, finance and operations experience. He joined Jeld-Wen in 2018 and has held leadership roles in North America doors and windows. Most recently, he was responsible for all aspects of the North America window businesses focused on residential and commercial construction.

Meagan McCoy Jones Appointed President and CEO of McCoy’s

Meagan McCoy Jones recently became a fourth-generation leader for San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s Building Supply. Jones was named president and CEO at the start of June, succeeding her father, Brian McCoy, who retired after a 50-year-career with the company. Jones began by working summer jobs at McCoy’s, starting at a very young age, then officially joined the company’s management team in 2007 as an assistant manager for the Austin-Manchaca location. Her role then expanded over the past 10 years, including as president and chief operating officer since 2018.

“I’ve grown up at McCoy’s with the patience, help, and support of so many,” Jones said. “Through them, I fell in love with our business and industry. Being a private, family company is an advantage and privilege, and we don’t take that for granted.”

Roto North America Welcomes New Warehouse Manager

Bryan Buono joined Roto Frank of America as a new warehouse manager.

According to company officials, Buono brings 20 years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution and inventory control. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations from DeVry Institute of Technology and has worked as a liaison between customer service help desk and management. In his new role, he’s responsible for all warehouse operations at Roto Frank America.

Erdman Adds New Sales Manager

Erdman Automation Corp. welcomed Brian Ludwig as its South Central North America sales manager. Ludwig spent the last 28 years in fenestration and building products, most recently serving as the Northeast territory sales manager for Quanex Building Products.

Numerous GED Appointments

GED Integrated Solutions Inc. has named Ashraf “Ash” Hussein to the position of product marketing manager, insulating glass. Since joining the company in 2017, Hussein has assisted Intercept spacer fabrication system customers as an IG technology engineer.

The company also announced two internal promotions in its project management and vinyl engineering groups. Tom Boser moved into the  role of project manager in the sales application department. Boser has been with the company for more than 16 years as a machine assembler. Tyler Kraft also joined the project management team after starting with GED while wrapping up a mechanical engineering degree.

Anny Lin moved into a new role as a mechanical engineer in the engineering department. Lin joined GED in 2019 as a manufacturing process engineer. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and is currently a student at Kent State University.

Awards

Dave Yoho Receives Congressional Gold Medal

Dave Yoho, [DWM] columnist and blogger, and founder of Dave Yoho Associates, received the Congressional Gold Medal. Awarded during a special session of Congress on May 18, Yoho was honored in a video of the ceremony, commemorating him and other Merchant Mariners.

Yoho also appeared live on Memorial Day at the World War II Memorial, where he was part of the Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C.
