Due to changing market conditions and a drive to simplify its product offering, MI Windows and Doors will discontinue production of all products in the aluminum 195 Series manufactured in Flower Mound, Texas. The last day to place orders for the 195 single-hung and 195 picture window will be August 26, 2016. The final day of production will be September 2, 2016.

In place of the 195 Series, customers in Florida are encouraged to choose from MI’s aluminum 185 or vinyl 3540, and customers in Texas the aluminum 505 or vinyl 3500.

The company says all marketing collateral related to the 195 should be removed from showrooms by August 26.
