MI Windows Adds New Silver Color to 190 French Rail Sliding Doors

October 29th, 2015 by Editor

MI Windows and Doors now offers SuperCapSR silver color coating on its 190 French Rail three-panel and four-panel sliding glass doors. The silver color has a clear anodized appearance, meeting the needs of residential and commercial new construction and replacement markets, according to the company.

The addition follows the launch of the silver color on MIWD’s 190 French Rail two-panel doors and HomeMaker3 windows last year.

The three-panel doors are available with right-hand, left-hand, and center panel operation, while the four-panel door features two operational panels in the center. Silver exterior doors will be available with white interior and will come standard with a brushed nickel handle.

SuperCapSR is a color-coating system manufactured by Quanex Building Products that creates a molecularly fused color layer during the vinyl extrusion process. According to the company, the durable, integral color layer is 12 times harder than traditional paints and reflects 76 percent of infrared light to help prevent profile distortion caused by intense heat.
