Kerry McGovern Joins Power Home Remodeling as Senior Vice President of Brand
August 19th, 2022 by EditorPower Home Remodeling has announced the appointment of multifaceted communications and marketing leader, Kerry McGovern as its new senior vice president of brand — a first position of its kind for the full-service exterior home remodeler.
In this role, McGovern is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution across all brand disciplines, including internal communications, public relations, digital marketing, and creative services. With her experience in leading high-performing, results-driven teams, McGovern will also be responsible for growing Power Home Remodeling’s brand department and overseeing all key hires to align with the rapid growth of the business. She reports directly to the company co-CEO, Asher Raphael.
“We took our time to find a leader who could help us build a brand and a story as big as our business,” said Raphael. “As soon as I met Kerry I knew we found the right person. I’m excited to work with, and learn from her, and can’t wait to see how she propels Power forward.”
McGovern brings more than 20 years of communications and marketing experience working for major consumer brands like Under Armour, the National Hockey League (NHL), and the alcohol delivery service app Drizly, Inc. Most recently she served as the vice president of communications for RE/MAX, where she lead all internal and external communications.
“It’s often said around the Power offices: ‘we don’t hire people to sell windows, we sell windows to hire people.’ It is this type of people-first culture that attracted me to Power,” said McGovern. “Through this approach, Power has not only built a successful business that has stood the test of time, but it has also created a company that lives and breathes its purpose of improving the lives of everyone it touches — from the people we employ, to the consumers we serve, and the communities in which we reside. It’s a place I’m proud to now call home and I look forward to helping to tell its story.”
