Jeld-Wen Brings on Farsad Fotouhi as VP of Sustainability and Social Governance

Jeld-Wen announced that Farsad Fotouhi will join the company as vice president of Sustainability and Social Governance, effective October 18. He will be responsible for environmental, social and governance function (ESG) global. Fotouhi has more than 25 years of leadership experience in global health, safety, environment, and sustainability for multinational companies and government agencies. He most recently served as global head, Environmental, Safety & Sustainability at Siemens Healthineers where he oversaw and advised management on ways to improve environmental performance and reduce risk across a global organization.

Prior to Siemens Healthineers, Fotouhi was director of Global Energy & Sustainability at Danaher and vice president of Global Health, Safety and Environmental at Pall Corporation. Earlier in his career, he served as an environmental engineer officer at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.

Fotouhi ’s work has been cited in several publications and he has been awarded the Outstanding Engineering Award on two different occasions from the National Groundwater Association for his innovative efforts to treat and manage groundwater.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science and three Masters of Science degrees in agricultural engineering, environmental engineering and soil physics.
