With labor shortages and the need for social distancing persisting in 2021, Wakefield Equipment’s K-51DV Flipping Table and Conveyor is designed to allow employees to space out by enabling one person to handle large doors and windows. The machine’s ergonomic features also help to ensure safety. The unit is custom-built to manufacturers’ exact needs and specifications.
VantagePoint Industries offers a Weatherstripping and Corner Pad product that company officials say is especially designed for fire-rated doors. The Ontario, Calif.-based company, which is known for its hinge and barn-door style hardware, says the product is both American Architectural Manufacturers Association Grade A and U.L. Categories H and J certified and available in 500, 650, 730, 825, 875 and 930 profiles, including colors of beige, black, bronze, cream and white. Custom designs are also available.
New Option for Sashes
GED Integrated Solutions introduced the RoboClean Twin-Head Vinyl Corner Cleaning System in 2014. Now the company is offering the same product in a dedicated sash version: RC2000-S.
Designed specifically for doors and windows RoboClean is a 12-axis robotic machine offering “infinite axis possibilities.” The unit provides complete corner cleaning with no need for touch ups. Officials say a fully enclosed and self-contained design provides low-maintenance operation. The RC2000-S has all the same great features as the RC2000 but with a smaller footprint that’s specifically designed and programmed for small sash profiles.
