Inc. magazine has released its annual Inc. 5000 list which cites the fastest growing companies and this year two members of one remodeling franchise join the ranks along with an “innovator,” a “power” remodeler and a regional window maker that makes and sells its own windows.

At the top of the list among remodeling companies is Power Home Remodeling, based in Chester, Pa., which has been named for the past three years, and came in at number 1,439.

The company achieved 209 percent growth in the past three years and annual revenue jumped from $41.1 million in 2008 to $127.1 million in 2011; 850 employees were added in that timeframe.

The company has expanded into three new markets, including Long Island, Boston and Atlanta, with plans to expand further in 2012, according to the company.

“We’re honored to be recognized by Inc. magazine for the third consecutive year,” says Power CEO Corey Schiller. “It is a testament to the tenacity of our employees and the high quality of our products that, even through the economic downturn, we’re experiencing growth and creating green jobs to help fuel our economy in a time when many businesses are struggling.”

Power was honored as the 53rd fastest-growing company in the construction industry and was named one of the top 50 fastest-growing companies in the Philadelphia metro area.

Not too far behind them is Thompson Creek Window Co. based in Lanham, Md., at number 1,968. The company achieved 137 percent growth in the past three years and annual revenue jumped from $24.2 million in 2008 to $57.3 million in 2011; 199 employees were added.

Two Window World stores also made the list: Baton Rouge and Washington D.C. at 2,963 and 4,347 respectively.

Baton Rouge achieved 74 percent growth in the past three years and annual revenue jumped from $21.1 million in 2008 to $36.7 million in 2011; 48 employees were added in that timeframe. At Window World of D.C. the company achieved 26 percent growth in the past three years and annual revenue jumped from $8.9 million in 2008 to $11.2 million in 2011; 50 employees were added.

Two more companies, America’s Window, Borden, Ind., and Solar Innovations, Pine Grove, Pa., came in at 3,574 and 3,422 respectively.

America’s Window achieved 51 percent growth in the past three years and annual revenue jumped from $9.1 million in 2008 to $13.7 million in 2011; 55 employees were added.

At Solar Innovations the company achieved 56 percent growth in the past three years and annual revenue jumped from $11 million in 2008 to $17.1million in 2011; 29 employees were added in that timeframe.
