Industry Call to Action

April 17th, 2020 by Emmariah Holcomb

Last week, the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) sent a letter to Capitol Hill urging lawmakers to quickly pass additional funding for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). NLBMDA created a grassroots campaign for members to contact their elected officials, echoing this message.

“Funds for these loan programs are now completely depleted and lawmakers need to step up and immediately pass additional funding to ensure that businesses, including LBM dealers, have access to these funds as the COVID-19 pandemic continues,” association officials said.

NLBMDA is asking all members and industry stakeholders to contact their lawmakers and tell them to increase funding to these loan programs.
