IGMA Educational Seminar Scheduled for September in Las Vegas

July 31st, 2012 by Editor

The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA) will hold its annual IGMA Performance and Innovation in Insulating Glass Educational Seminar on September 11-12 in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton).

“Our program has had great attendance over the years, but we wanted to make it a no-brainer to attend,” says Margaret Webb, IGMA executive director. “By co-locating with GlassBuild America, attendees can plan to spend one extra day in Vegas and make an immediate impact in their fabrication business. Our presentations cover the full gamut of do’s and don’ts when it comes to IG manufacturing. Day One is focused on components, special handling and fabrication, and Day Two is more strategic with presentations on glass breakage, glass selection for energy efficiency, post-fabrication considerations such as good glazing practices and the day concludes with how to conduct a forensic investigation in the event of a failure.”

Webb adds, “Our program features top presentations from some of the greatest minds in the IG industry. Experts from companies like GED Integrated Solutions, Edgetech IG, Cardinal IG, Pilkington, HB Fuller and SAGE Electrochromics, in addition to our own Bill Lingnell, guarantee that top-notch information is available to our attendees.”

Registration for the event is now available at IGMA’s website, www.igmaonline.org. A discounted early-bird registration fee is available to all who register by August 12.
