Houzework.com: A New Gig Economy for the Construction Industry Launches

October 1st, 2021 by Editor

A new Atlanta-based service is trying to reshape gig economy by providing thousands of new jobs in house maintenance, renovation, and home improvement. Houzework, developed by Mustard Grain Projects, is a new marketplace that connects homeowners, landlords, and tenants with qualified professionals to work on their home improvement projects.

The website brings the benefits of freelance marketplaces such as Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer to the home improvement industry, according to the company. Through Houzework, registered users can post jobs or invite freelancers to work on their houses or buildings, and the list includes window services. They can also post their jobs with a location map, to connect with local professionals.

“We strive to be the platform where professionals go to connect, collaborate, and get work done,” said Idowu Hythe, chief innovation officer.
