Macedonia, Ohio-based Great Day Improvements LLC has announced its acquisition of Ric-Lee Corp., of Glen Burnie, Md., for an undisclosed amount in what the company says is part of its east coast expansion.

Steve White, managing director for Great Day said, “Ric-Lee is a regional leader in the sunroom business and through this acquisition the Ric-Lee Patio Enclosures franchise has become a corporate location of Great Day Improvements. We decided to purchase Ric-Lee in order to position ourselves strategically on the east coast.

As a result of this acquisition, we now have corporate locations that cover the area from Boston to Washington, D.C.”

Ric-Lee, which builds and installs sunrooms, solariums, conservatories, screen enclosures, room additions, retractable and fixed door and window awnings, replacement windows and finishing systems, is considered one of the largest installers in Delaware and Maryland and has been open since 1980.

Great Day is a residential /commercial remodeler and manufacturer offering a variety of services in the patio enclosure, vinyl door and window and window film markets. The company operates across 28 states.
