Meet the Speakers
Tara Taffera is the publisher of Door and Window Market [DWM] magazine and editorial director for USGlass and Window Film magazines, all produced by parent company Key Media & Research (KMR). Taffera has been with the company for nearly 25 years and was responsible for the launch of [DWM]. She is known as an expert in these respective industries, particularly doors and windows.
Tim Musch has spent the last 30 years developing and refining technology solutions for contractors in the home services industry space. Prior to that, he spent 15 years gaining experience in a family-owned remodeling company in Central Wisconsin. Currently, Musch is a business development specialist for Paradigm LLC, headquartered in Madison, Wis. Over the past few years, he has spoken to hundreds of groups building the case for the benefits of systemizing local, independent businesses.
Paul Burleson is a respected industry in-home sales expert who has worked in the industry since he was 12 years old. His development continued for industry stalwarts such as Pacesetter and Statewide Home Improvement. Burleson eventually became the national trainer and specialist in developing in-home selling programs for Alcoa, Ply Gem and Royal Building Products.
Over the course of his career, Burleson has created sales training programs for many of the leading home improvement retailers and manufacturers across North America and is known for his motivational approach that inspires in-home salespeople to perfect their skills. He currently works as a consultant for Westlake Royal Building Products and specializes in developing sales systems for insulated siding.
John Hicks specializes in business development and maximizing probability for industry companies. He has over 30 years of successful experience in leadership and management and has trained in-home sales personnel for over two decades.
Prior to joining Dave Yoho Associates, Hicks oversaw the operations of two separate successful home improvement companies. His passion lies in helping others achieve their personal, professional, and financial goals.
He has a bachelor’s degree in business management with an emphasis on organizational development and was a recipient of The Distinguished Achievement Award for Outstanding Leadership, Scholarship and Service award.
