FlexScreen has partnered with Ventana USA to open its first manufacturing facility in the Pittsburgh area. The 44,000-square-foot manufacturing facility will operate under the name FlexScreen Pittsburgh LLC and will supply fabricated window screens to the western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and eastern Michigan markets.

The company expects the facility to be operational this fall.

Customers will be able to order their window screens electronically, and have them manufactured to size as well as labeled and delivered to meet their production requirements.

FlexScreen president Joe Altieri says he views the partnership as a significant milestone.

“We couldn’t have found a better partner to align ourselves with than Ventana USA,” he says.
