Joe Altieri, owner of FlexScreen, has been accepted into the Forbes Business Council, a growth and networking organization for business owners.

Altieri was selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience, officials for FlexScreen say. Criteria for acceptance included a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.

“We are honored to welcome Joe Altieri into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils. “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social, capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”

Altieri started his company in 2013 and his patented invention, a flexible window screen, hit the market in 2015. FlexScreen caught the attention of producers at ABC’s Shark Tank and Altieri appeared on the show in January 2020, landing a deal with Lori Greiner, who is also known as the “Queen of QVC.”

“I’m excited and honored to be a part of the Forbes Business Council,” Altieri says. “I’m reminded never to stop seeking growth, and I’m eager to learn from such an impressive field of other industry leaders. Being a part of this prestigious council will undoubtedly have long-reaching benefits for my company and my teams, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”
