Fensterbau Frontale and Holz-Handwerk Will Not Take Place in 2020
April 14th, 2020 by Emmariah HolcombNürnbergMesse has decided, in agreement with the Department of Environment and Health of the City of Nürnberg, not to hold Fensterbau Frontale in conjunction with Holz-Handwerk in 2020. According to the event coordinators, the uncertain situation resulting from COVID-19 is leading to a declining willingness to invest.
Limited business activity due to official orders and international travel restrictions in many places make it difficult for trade fair participants to plan and prepare for their participation, according to the event coordinators.
“We would like to express our sincere thanks for the numerous trusting and constructive discussions with industry representatives over the past few days, who have supported us in our decision-making process,” said Petra Wolf, NürnbergMesse management board member. “Our goal of creating a special experience for exhibitors and visitors with the events and enabling the varied establishment and expansion of business relations cannot be realized under the influence of the Corona crisis,” says Wolf.
Due to the increased spread of the virus, NürnbergMesse initially postponed the event from March to June 2020. “For our exhibitors and visitors we would have liked to hold the fairs on an alternative date in 2020. However, the dynamic developments around the corona pandemic ultimately necessitate the decision to cancel, which is being taken in close coordination with the Department of Environment and Health of the City of Nürnberg,” said Elke Harreiß, Fensterbau Frontale director.
Save the Date
Fensterbau Frontale and Holz-Handwerk will take place again from March 29, 2022 to April 1, 2022.
