DOJ Asked to Weigh in on Steves & Sons v. Jeld-Wen Case

April 1st, 2022 by Editor

After reviewing both the Special Master’s Report and Recommendation and Steves & Sons’ objection to said report, Judge Robert E. Payne invited the Department of Justice (DOJ) to weigh in on the Steves & Sons v. Jeld-Wen case by way of an amicus curiae, or impartial opinion.

Judge Payne writes that “the Court would benefit from having the DOJ’s views on the topics raised” in the Report and Recommendation, as well as the objections, both of which were provided to the DOJ, along with all exhibit attachments. Payne requested that the amicus curiae be filed by April 15.

Stay tuned to [DWM] for more information on the case as it becomes available.
