Cory Sorice New Chief Innovation Officer at Masonite International

As of August 19, Cory Sorice has been appointed senior vice president and chief innovation officer at Masonite International Corp. (Masonite).

Sorice joins the company with over 25 years of marketing, business development and general management experience. His prior work experience includes the position of vice president and general manager for Chamberlain Group Inc., as well as other leadership roles at Stanley Black & Decker Corp., Newell Rubbermaid and the market research firm Information Resources Inc.

As an inventor with 10 U.S. patents in the categories of home automation and access controls, Sorice was president and co-founder of Invequity LLC, a company focused on servicing the technology transfer and patent licensing market.

He earned his M.B.A. from Northwestern University, a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University and is a certified public accountant.

“Cory has a demonstrated ability to understand markets and mobilize organizations to develop new products and systems that add value to customers,” said Howard Heckes, president and CEO of Masonite.
