Centra Windows Acquires Supreme Windows Calgary

May 5th, 2022 by Editor

Centra Windows, headquartered in Langley, British Colombia, has made it’s first business purchase, acquiring Supreme Windows (Calgary), in Alberta.

Supreme Windows has been a family owned and operated business for 55 years, and according to a Centra blog post announcing the transaction, Centra describes Supreme’s standards as “high,” and that the employees “have a great eye for detail, and they take care of their people.”

The purchase allows Centra to move into the Alberta marketplace “with the expertise to make the perfect windows for the province,” according to the blog post, which goes on to say that Centra will look to Supreme’s experts and their decades of experience with the unique needs of Albertan homeowners and the local climate.

The windows will continue to be made in Alberta and Centra says the acquisition won’t affect the orders of current Supreme customers. Future Supreme customers will have access to the perks Centra has to offer.

“We want to do right by our employees. We put a lot of thought into it, and we thought Centra was a very good fit because all the tools are there for them to move the company forward and help the current staff. We feel comfortable that Centra is a very positive choice,” said Dennis Huber, Supreme Windows owner.

The Supreme location will be the company’s fifth location and its second manufacturing plant. With the addition of the Supreme team, the company will add about 75 employee owners.

“At Supreme, you have amazing people who produce amazing products and services. That’s like Centra. With like-minded people who are passionate about what they do and how they do it, especially when it comes to great consumer experiences, can you imagine what we can achieve together? I think the opportunities are endless here,” said Garett Wall, CEO of Centra Windows.

Supreme employees will receive the same benefits that all Centra employees have, including the chance to become Employee Owners themselves. The company’s Employee Ownership program currently has a participation rate of 85%.
