Officials for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) issued a call for comments this week regarding proposed revisions of two Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA) standards.

According to the announcement, BSR/WDMA I.S.1A-202x, Industry Standard for Interior Architectural Wood Flush Doors (revision of ANSI/WDMA I.S. 1A -2013) WDMA I.S.1A, Industry Standard for Interior Architectural Wood Flush Doors, “defines the aesthetic grades and performance duty levels for interior architectural wood flush doors.” The standard includes performance requirements and test methods to ensure that products are evaluated on an equal basis and provides a system of references for “thorough, precise, and accurate architectural specifications.”
