What Does Brad Pitt Have to Do with the Window Industry?

August 7th, 2015 by Editor

Integrity Windows and Doors has entered into a formal partnership with Brad Pitt’s Make It Right foundation  to supply products for the charity’s construction projects around the country.

Founded by Pitt in 2007, Make It Right builds sustainable, affordable homes for people in need.  All Make It Right projects are LEED certified.

The partnership between Integrity and Make It Right arrives amid the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Integrity’s products have been used in the rebuilding of the city’s Lower 9th Ward and in numerous Make It Right projects across the country.

“Integrity makes beautifully crafted, highly durable windows and doors,” says Cesar Rodriguez, Make It Right’s building materials specialist, in a statement. “They offer great quality at an affordable price, making Integrity the perfect partner for well-designed, sustainable homes built for working families.”

On August 29, New Orleans will remember all that was lost in Hurricane Katrina and honor the rebuilding of the city with a celebration hosted by Make It Right.  Representatives from the organization will share stories from the Lower 9th Ward about the organization’s work to bring that part of the city back to life. Make It Right is also hosting a day of service, in which hundreds of volunteers from around the country will join the ongoing rebuilding effort.

“We are proud to extend our partnership with Make It Right, and to continue to support all of the work that they do in providing homes and buildings for those in need,” says Becky Felling, Director of Marketing for Integrity Windows and Doors, in a statement.  “In 2007, our team heard of the work that this organization was doing to help rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and we knew then that it was something that we wanted to be involved in.  Over the years, our partnership has grown, and we are honored to see our products continued to be used in their designs. We’re looking forward to this more formal relationship so that we can continue to work together to make a difference in communities in need across the country.
