Workshops on Selling ENERGY STAR Windows to be Held in Kentucky

With energy prices a concern for many consumers, more companies are looking for information on how to connect with these prospects and increase sales of ENERGY STAR windows, doors and skylights. With this goal, the U.S. Department of Energy and the Kentucky Office of Energy Policy are hosting two half-day workshops on "Advanced Selling Techniques for ENERGY STAR Windows."

This is the first time the workshop is available in the Southeast. The first workshop will be held May 31, 2006, at the Radisson Riverfront in Covington, Ky., from 1:00-5:00 p.m. The second workshop will be June 1, 2006, at the Four Points Sheraton in Lexington, Ky., also from 1:00-5:00 p.m.

The cost of attending the workshop is $25.00. Continuing education credits are available for architects, builders and remodelers. Call the Southface Institute in North Carolina at 828/265-4888 to reserve a space or for more information.
