RSM McGladrey Confronts Employee Fraud in Free Web Seminar

Companies in the United States lose six percent of annual revenues to employee fraud, and the U.S. Commerce Department estimates that employee theft contributes to nearly one in three business failures. In response to these startling statistics, RSM McGladrey national construction will host a free web seminar titled "Employee Fraud: The Silent Killer" on Tuesday, April 19, at 1:30 p.m. CST. Real estate practice leader Rod Foster will discuss how to detect and prevent employee fraud.

"Most business owners doubt employee fraud is happening at their company, when in reality it's often their most trusted employees perpetrating the crime. Most employees who start committing fraud will continue to do so until there is some compelling reason to quit," said Foster.

Foster will help owners of construction companies to understand the proper controls to prevent fraud, what motivates employees to steal and techniques that are used.
