Jordan, Knauff and Co. Announces Door and Window Industry Benchmark Survey

Jordan, Knauff and Co. ("JKC") has announced the launch of the Window and Door Industry Benchmark Survey for year-end 2006. The survey is intended for door and window manufacturers and can be requested by sending an email to The results of the survey for mid-year 2006 included statistics regarding profitability, productivity, materials purchase costs, warranty expenses, specialty product characteristics, distribution methods, research and development spending, capital placements, mergers and acquisitions plans and other areas. The results of the analysis were presented based on revenue quartiles, as well as overall product categories. JKC has stated that it is not aware of another survey being conducted in the industry that addresses all of these areas. The survey can be completed using a paper questionnaire or an online version. The results of the survey will be provided at no cost to participating companies.
