Construction Begins for ODL's New Plant

ODL Inc. of Zeeland, Mich., has broken ground on a new manufacturing facility in Zeeland with plans for completion in early 2005, according to Chuck Caesar, vice president of operations.

The expansion will include construction of a new office and lunchroom for one of ODL's existing plants, the demolition of another plant and the construction of a new 107,203-square-foot plant, complete with offices and a conference facility.

"Over the past few years we've seen an increase in demand for our products, as well as steady growth in the past 10 years. In 2004, we hired approximately 100 new employees, bringing our total companywide to 1,000. As a result, the time has now come for us to expand our operations. This new plant is a direct result of this need," said Caesar.
