Intek Plastics Names Robert Tracy as New President

Intek Plastics of Hastings, Minn., has announced the promotion of Robert Tracy to the position of president. Tracy succeeds John Penn, who remains chief executive officer and chairperson of the board.

Tracy has been with Intek since 2003, where he has served as vice president of operations, and most recently as chief operating officer.

"Since joining Intek, Rob has consistently demonstrated his leadership skills. He has been a catalyst for change throughout our entire organization by instilling a culture of continuous improvement," said Penn.

Tracy has a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and operational engineering from the University of Michigan. He brings more than 20 years of varied operations and management experience to his new assignment, according to the company.
