June 6th, 2018 by Editor

AmesburyTruth has resolved a patent infringement lawsuit with Vision Industries Group Inc. The terms of the settlement are confidential.

According to court documents, Vision has agreed to stop selling an inverted block and tackle balance system from June 2019 until January 2022.

AmesburyTruth filed the lawsuit in September 2017, alleging that Vision’s inverted balance systems infringed upon AmesburyTruth’s U.S. patents related to inverted balance systems.

“AmesburyTruth’s robust R&D department develops unique solutions for its customers, such as these patented products, and AmesburyTruth is committed to protecting its valuable intellectual property,” said Mike McCann, AmesburyTruth’s senior vice president of sales & marketing.

AmesburyTruth was represented by Merchant & Gould P.C., a national intellectual property law firm.
