AmesburyTruth Parent Company Starts Off Strong in 2016

Tyman PLC, the parent company of hardware maker AmesburyTruth, reported that its North American markets drove the company’s growth during the first four months of the year.

Revenue was 14 percent ahead of the same period in 2015. The company says that reflects its acquisition of Italy’s Giesse Group, which was announced in March.

AmesburyTruth had a strong start to the year, according to the company, with both revenue and orders running ahead of 2015.

“The U.S. market has performed more strongly than the Canadian market which, as expected, is slightly down year on year,” Tyman said in a statement. “We expect that trading in both the US and Canadian markets will continue on similar lines for the remainder of 2016.”
